Claude Garache is a French painter, engraver and lithographer born January 20, 1930 in Paris. He realized his first artistic works in 1948 and benefited the same year from the teaching of Robert Coutin, in drawing and sculpture.  The artist has been distinguishing himself since 1965 in his painting by his work of etching. Thanks to the use of a single colour, red, he pursues the unique subject of his life as an artist: the female body. His works are kept in the great institutions of Paris, New York, Washington, etc... His art is of a singular coherence.
